Validation française de questionnaires de participation sociale auprès d'aînés en situation d'incapacités

Abstract

Contexte. Pour dresser le portrait complet du fonctionnement des aînés en situation d'incapacités, il est utile d'inclure une évaluation de leur participation sociale. Toutefois, très peu de questionnaires mesurant ce concept sont disponibles en langue française. But. L'étude visait à traduire les questionnaires Participation Measure for Post-Acute Care (PM-PAC) et Impact on Participation and Autonomy Questionnaire (IPAQ), puis à évaluer leur fidélité test-retest et leur validité convergente en les comparant au questionnaire Mesure des habitudes de vie (MHAVIE). Méthodologie. Trente aînés ayant des incapacités physiques ont répondu à deux moments aux trois questionnaires. Résultats. La fidélité test-retest du score total des versions francophones de I'IPAQ (coefficient de corrélation intraclasse (CCI): 0,86) etdu PM-PAC (CCI: 0,90) est élevée. Les scores totaux de participation des trois questionnaires sont modérément associés (rs: 0,53 à 0,64). Conséquences pour la pratique. L'étudepermet d'offrir aux ergothérapeutes cliniciens et aux chercheurs francophones deux nouveaux outils valides pour l'évaluation de la participation sociale .
