Relação hipsométrica para povoamento de Parapiptadenia rigida (Benth.) Brenan em Dois Vizinhos, Paraná

Abstract

Este trabalho teve como objetivo determinar e verificar o comportamento da relação hipsométrica de um povoamento de Parapiptadenia rigida (Benth.) Brenan, situado no município de Dois Vizinhos, Paraná. Para tanto, foram mensuradas todas as árvores do povoamento com circunferência à altura do peito maior que 15 cm, exceto as de borda. Para cada indivíduo, determinaramse a altura total, a circunferência à altura do peito e o diâmetro à altura do peito. Com os dados coletados, ajustaram-se nove modelos hipsométricos por meio do procedimento de análise de regressão (PROC REG) no software Statistical Analysis System (SAS), versão 9.3. Dos modelos testados, foi selecionado o melhor deles por intermédio dos resultados de coeficiente de determinação ajustado, coeficiente de variação, valor de F calculado e análise gráfica dos resíduos. O modelo escolhido foi o de Curtis, notado por: ln (h) = 2,83601 – 5,26255. (1/DAP), com coeficiente de determinação ajustado de 0,6479, coeficiente de variação de 6,33% e valor de F de 720,54.
