Deformidade de bico em Sporophila caerulescens (coleirinho) no estado do Rio Grande do Sul, Sul do Brasil

Abstract

Por meio de observação ocasional, foi registrado um indivíduo de coleirinho (Aves, Sporophila caerulescens) com deformidade de bico no estado do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. A causa dessa deformidade no bico pode ter origem congênita e estar relacionada ao acúmulo de componentes de agrotóxicos agrícolas ou de agentes infecciosos. Os relatos contribuem significativamente para a elucidação dos fatores ecológicos envolvidos em estudos futuros.
