Uso de diferentes tipos de lâmpadas em armadilhas luminosas para a captura de insetos em ambiente urbano

Abstract

A coleta de insetos com armadilha luminosa tem sido utilizada em diversos estudos sobre a entomofauna. No presente trabalho, foi avaliada a eficácia de armadilhas luminosas de baixo custo em ambientes urbanos com influência da luz artificial. Foram instaladas armadilhas luminosas construídas com parte de material reciclável (adaptadas ao modelo Luiz de Queiroz) em uma área urbana com três diferentes tipos de luz: lâmpada fluorescente luz branca 15W, 127V; lâmpada incandescente luz amarela 15W, 127V; lâmpada UV 15W, 220V luz ultravioleta (negra). Como resultado, coletaram-se 1.382 insetos, distribuídos em sete ordens distintas: Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, Blattodea, Hemiptera, Orthoptera e Odonata. A maior quantidade de insetos coletados foi verificada na luz UV, seguida da luz amarela. A armadilha com menor eficiência foi representada pela luz branca. Dessa maneira, observou-se que, mesmo em áreas urbanas, com a interferência de luz artificial, o uso de armadilhas luminosas é uma ferramenta eficaz na captura de insetos.
