Plating thickness standards

Abstract

A variety of standards that have been developed and fabricated for the nondestructive measurement of plating thickness are listed. The development and fabrication of TiB/sub 2/-on-steel thickness standards are described. Pure-copper-foil reference units were provided for use in the four-point resistance measurement of copper-on-epoxy-board plating thickness.
