Abstract

En el contexto de la Cuarta Revolución Industrial (4RI), las empresas consultoras de software enfrentan desafíos significativos para adoptar tecnologías emergentes y mantener su competitividad. Este estudio analiza el nivel de madurez tecnológica de las consultoras de software en Sonora, México, mediante un enfoque cuantitativo basado en capacidades tecnológicas (CT) y gestión tecnológica (GT). Utilizando datos de la Encuesta sobre Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones 2013 (ENTIC2013) del INEGI y aplicando análisis de componentes principales (ACP), se desarrolló un marco conceptual que integra 19 variables distribuidas en seis subdimensiones: inversión, producción, vinculación, dirección estratégica, innovación tecnológica y transferencia de tecnología. Los resultados revelan que las empresas muestran niveles heterogéneos de madurez, destacando un uso avanzado de servicios en la nube para producción, pero deficiencias en capacitación del personal y proyectos de innovación. El modelo propuesto clasifica la madurez en cuatro niveles (baja, media-baja, media-alta y alta) según la combinación de CT y GT. Las conclusiones sugieren la necesidad de estrategias sistemáticas para construir capacidades tecnológicas alineadas con los requerimientos de la 4RI, proporcionando una herramienta de evaluación aplicable a MiPymes de diversos sectores.
