ENSINO DE MICROBIOLOGIA E A EXPERIMENTAÇÃO NO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL

Abstract

<p align="center"><strong>RESUMO</strong></p><p>Com este estudo objetivamos explorar a eficiência do uso da experimentação, como proposta para o aprendizado de conceitos sobre microrganismos. Oficina com atividades experimentais, Micromundo, foi realizada com 70 alunos do ensino fundamental. A oficina teve seis atividades experimentais sobre conceituação, nutrição, ubiquidade, antimicrobianos, importância e observação dos microrganismos. A eficiência desta estratégia foi avaliada por meio das respostas dos alunos a questionários realizados antes e depois da oficina. As diferenças entre as respostas antes e depois da oficina foram avaliadas. As explicações dos estudantes que foram analisadas e categorizadas conforme o grau de entendimento. Com esta análise observamos que as aulas experimentais foram eficientes para o aprendizado de conceitos sobre os microrganismos, melhorando em 66,67% o desempenho dos estudantes. Portanto, atividades experimentais são estratégias indispensáveis para melhorar aprendizado de microbiologia. Em consequência legitimamos a necessidade de organização de espaços adequados e aperfeiçoamento dos professores para real implementação desse tipo de prática nas escolas.</p><p>Palavras-chaves: Educação em Microbiologia.
