S. N. BULGAKOVS VISIE OP DE KONTINUÏTEIT IN ZIJN DENKEN

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Aus den nach seinem Tode herausgegebenen autobiografischen Notizen S. N. Bulgakovs (1871–1944) ergibt sich, dass dieser russisch-orthodoxe Theologe die Kontinuitat in seiner geistigen Entwicklung hervorhebt. Auf erster Sicht ist das verwunderlich: Bulgakovs Lebensgeschichte zeigt manche Bruchstellen und Bekehrungen. Der Verfasser dieses Aufsatzes versucht deshalb diese von Bulgakov beanspruchte Kontinuitat insbesondere nach zu weisen an einigen hervorragenden Wendepunkten, wie der Bruch des jungen Bulgakovs mit dem orthodoxen Seminar, seine geistige Auseinandersetzung mit der revolutionaren Intelligenz, die erst endgultig beendet wird in dem Entschluss in 1918 sich zum Priester weihen zu lassen. Fur das Verstandnis ist es unentbehrlich die Art und Weise zu kennen in der Bulgakov die russischen Revolutionen von 1905 und 1917 erlebt hat. Aus seinen spateren Auswertungen dieser Revolutionen geht hervor, dass er vor allen Dingen nach der geistigen Bedeutung dieser historischen Ereignissen frag...
