SUMMARY Forty-one species of terrestrial isopods are recorded from the Central Apennines between the Marecchia and Esino rivers. One species, Haplop/Jt/ml/722:: fizmzaranu: Verhoeff, 1908, is a new record for the Italian fauna. Eight poorly known species (Tric/Joiziscus zazzgberii Arcangeli, 1952, Hzzplop/Jtlmlmus mo:2tzZ'eI[z'z' Arcan- geli, 1922, H. flzmmrzmzzr, H. zZ[7breui:Itt1: Verhoeff, 1928, Parasc/Jz'zz‘dizmz coeczzlzmz (Silvestri, 1897), Armaa7z’Zlz'- dizmz cIcwz'gemm Verhoeff, 1928, A. mm‘z)2emqz'zmz Verhoeff, 1928 and A. zzzzcomzmmz Verhoeff, 1928) are di- scussed and illustrated.
