Abstract

5品種のアヒルの雛の肝臓のマンノース•ホスヘート•イソメラーゼ•アイソザイムについて澱粉ゲル電気泳動法による分析を行った。この酵素の活性は2つの域で検出され,その内の易動度のより早い域(MPI-I)において個体変異が発見された。これらの変異は3複対立遺伝子(MPI-IA,IB,IC)によって遺伝的に支配されていると推測された。日本在来種のナキアヒルはMPI-ICで固定されていた。青首アヒルはMPI-ICと他の品種では発見されなかったMPI-IAを保有していた。中国,台湾およびオランダからそれぞれ導入された白色ペキン,白色菜鴨およびカーキー•キャンベルはそれぞれ頻度は異なるがMPI-IBとMPI-ICを持っていた。
