In this study, we establish a theoretical framework to combine the quantity of education with its market value. Using multiple years of survey data from China, we construct various Education Human Capital (EHC) indexes for 1986-2020. Our results help improve the education measures for China in the international databases and provide new indexes with rich information for studying education.
