A brief history of the LCOE definition - An update
Contrary to common understanding, we prove that the LCOE (Levelized Cost Of Energy) definition used by many government agencies around the world is mistaken. We derive the correct definition. The paper shows how a fundamental theorem of integral calculus can help to solve a practical problem that has been misinterpreted for many years.
