Erdoganists are followers of Kemalists in their use of the same tools and methodology but for a different ideology, different aims, and different beneficiaries. I will try to substantiate this argument in chapters on desired, undesired and tolerated citizens of Kemalists and Erdoganists. Before completing this introduction with some detail on the structure of the book, let me briefly talk about the desired citizen project of Erdoganists.
