Abstract

Spanish abstract: El presente documento da una revision de conceptos de farmacodinamia y farmacometria, que son de suma importancia para el estudio de la Farmacologia. Este capitulo es material para estudio de manera general de mecanismos de accion, asi como, la construccion de curvas dosis-respuesta para determinar parametros farmacometricos como las dosis efectivas o dosis letales y realizar calculos de la seguridad e inocuidad de los farmacos como puede ser el indice terapeutico, margen de seguridad o factor critico de seguridad con la finalidad de poder tomar decisiones terapeuticas mas adecuadas. English abstract: This document gives a review of concepts of pharmacodynamics and pharmacometry, which are of utmost importance for the study of Pharmacology. This chapter is material for a general study of mechanisms of action, as well as the construction of dose-response curves to determine pharmacological parameters such as effective doses or lethal doses and perform calculations of safety and safety of drugs such as the index. therapeutic, safety margin or critical safety factor in order to make more appropriate therapeutic decisions.
