Abstract

The technological development that gave birth to the industrial revolution 4.0 caused many changes and developments in all sectors. One such development is the popularization of one of the social media that provides various facilities for netizens to keep expressing and expressing opinions both with pictures or words. The popular social media is Instagram. On Instagram, there are various types of accounts with their own interests. There is a personal account that is indeed to enhance self-existence, there is an account of humor, and there are serious accounts both about religion, politics, or education. However, lately in Indonesia political issues are being warmed up in line with the upcoming elections in 2019. Political accounts are also increasing, one of them is the @indonesiabertauhidid account which is both an Islamic missionary and political account. Submissions on the account reap pros and cons so that researchers feel the need to further examine the contents of the submissions seen from their illocutionary and perlocution speech acts. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis method, which is by describing the intent of the captions in the @indonesiabertauhidid account. The caption is interpreted through the theory of illocutionary speech and perlocution. This research was conducted on Instagram social media because social media is the most popular and effective media for disseminating information. The data sources of this study are the last few posts on the @indonesiabertauhidid account for which data was obtained from the account caption and the comments column.
