We consider the many facets of being human. We explore both the fascinating and frustrating aspects of being born as a homo-sapien. We consider how humans might or might be different from other species, both from an evolutionary perspective and a philosophical angle (while being open to the possibility that this bifurcation is artificial). We discuss the motivation for the many things we do on a daily basis and the biases we succumb to as we struggle with our existence. We conclude with a possible suggestion as to what is the rationale behind human birth and how it might coincide with reasons for why we need a universe.
