So far only three categories have been noted from Rajasthan goods under registered GI tags and these are Agricultural, Handicraft and Natural Goods. The Patent Information Centre (PIC), Rajasthan, has been made the nodal agency for GI protection. The Centre will identify GIs in Rajasthan in consultation with concerned organizations. Cost of registration under the GI Act will be borne through the department of science and technology (DST). Some of the registered GI handicraft goods from Rajasthan are Kota Doria, Phulkari (Punjab, Haryana & Rajasthan), Blue Pottery of Jaipur, Molela Clay Work, Kathputlis of Rajasthan, Sanganeri Hand Block Printing, Bagru Hand Block Print, Kota Doria (Logo), Thewa Art Work, Pokaran Pottery, Molela Clay Work (Logo), Blue Pottery of Jaipur (Logo), Kathputlis of Rajasthan (Logo).
