English Abstract: The Theory of Efficient Market Hypothesis plays an important role in the evolution of accounting research. The efficient market is divided into three forms by Fama (1970), which is weak and strong semi strong form. This paper describes how a market is said to be efficiently informed as reflected in the price change of existing securities in the market. Of the numerous studies reviewed mostly test the semi-strong efficient market. Researches on testing the shape of the market up to the moment are still being done and foster the development of accounting theory. This will later be used to explain and predict the rational behavior of investors.
