Performance and Risk: Trafigura Beheer BV Company in the Mining Industry in Africa

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of the African mining in five years. The analysis is suitable for African mining samples during from 2013 to 2017.This study used the credit risk, liquidity risk, operation risk and economic environment such as descriptive analysis to compare mining profitability and liquidity of the company. The findings suggest that corporate profitability may be affected by the operational risk, and liquidity may be affected by the interest rate of the economic environment.
