Causes of Nigeriaas Recession: Uneclipsing the Blame on the Previous Administration

Abstract

This article expounded the causes of the Nigeria’s Recession and uneclipsed the blame on the 16 Years rule of the People Democratic Party (PDP) by the President Muhammad Buhari APC led Administration for the recession. The article argued based on the causes of the recession that the President Administration should be blame for it. It pointed that President Buhari’s history of draconian rule, body language, poor polices such the FOREX Ban, wrong timing of the Single Treasury Account (TSA) implementation, delay in Ministerial appointment, Ministerial job mismatch and the used of old fashioned personalities in his cabinets landed the Country into recession. The article, put forward some solutions as appealing to Nigerians and businesses to return their monies back to the economic cycle without fear and intimidation by the authority will go a long way to removing the nation from recession. other specific solution include, reshuffling his cabinets, lifting FOREX Ban, breaking the pot of the TSA and fighting Corruption to be sustained without witch-hunting can help the country out of recession.
