Implementation of Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) at BPKP

Abstract

The Financial and Development Supervisory Board (BPKP) requires accurate and timely data of planning, development and supervision results to support its performance as the President's auditor. Some of the information systems that have been developed is a system that is built independently (in house development) and stand alone, so as a whole this system has not been able to produce relevant information accurately and timely. This research tries to find the driving factors of ERP implementation beside ERP in BPKP which is called SIMA 4.0. This is descriptive research using qualitative approach and SWOT analysis. An integrated system, ERP in an internal context is expected to improve efficiency and create innovation within the organization. In the external context BPKP is expected to provide services and information in a timely and accurate to the stakeholders. The Head of BPKP needs to undertake adequate socialization and training to employees and each head of the work unit should be committed to implementing SIMA 4.0 thoroughly and consistently.
