The “Internet of Things”, or IoT, is a new vision for the Internet, where the internet comes to include not only computers but also objects of everyday life. It is a challenge to objects and systems design and it is much more a concept than a new technology. A design approach is required to project new objects and new systems, including complex systems. This paper shows briefly Internet of Things concepts and some design statements that can be applied on that. A study case about Building Management Systems is shown, discussing modelling of ideas and results.
