This article discusses the benefits of having multi-tax-rates jurisdictions globally implemented. In particular, after having presented the theoretical approach, the author goes through the different aspects that are potentially subjected to reform as a consequence of the adopted methodology. Direct tax competition can be a tool for economic development and growth if it is put in a perspective that gives due importance to the dimension of time as far as direct tax policies are concerned.
