The science and art of reasoning is mastery of every profession in the world. In every profession whether formal or informal, technical or non-technical the use of reasoning is a common element for their day to day affairs. Although the application of reasoning in reality is often more practical as opposed to the theoretical application of this research . In the world of law, the use of reasoning is a predominant necessity because the law itself is a product of reasoning. This type of reasoning is referred to as “legal reasoning”. The underlying purpose of this work is to examine reasoning as used in the legal-world and how this type of reasoning is often used in the judicial process.
