Japan's Lost Decade and Abenomics

Abstract

Japan’s situation has been complicated since the early 1990s because of different problems related to low consume and low growth. Here we will try to give an explanation on how the government of Japan is nowadays acting in terms of economic policy through simple models of macroeconomics. We will focus the most on the present and how is Japan doing right now although we will also give a framework of how this situation was developed and the relation with other countries such as the United States or several countries from Europe.
