In the present paper an empirical analysis will point out that, based on (Georgiou, 2013), shadow economy has a negative impact on banking survival. The sample covers many Western European Countries and the United States. Data are taken from OECD, as well as (Schneider et al., 2010); (Schneider, 2013). The elaboration of these panel data is made feasible by means of the Eviews software package.
