The article aims at showing the situation of the Romanians in Italy in the 21st century starting from the causes determining the still existing crisis by showing the case as such from both the point of view of public opinion in the two countries and watching the reaction of authorities in Romania and Italy. In the last pages of the article, we will attempt to introduce the situation of the bilateral diplomatic relations between the two countries as a consequence of the Romanian immigrants’ crisis in Italy.
