German reunification was unprecedented. A marriage of differences, combining biasedchoices and high rigidities, has postponed the adjustment in economic and financialcircles. Since then, Germany reabsorbs the imbalances introduced and alternatesbetween remission and relapse at the discretion of the global economy.
