Hadiths or Prophetic narrations are classified based on authentications: Sahih, Hasan, Daif, Maudu, etc. In English these terminologies have been translated in various ways. In recent times some new translations have been introduced: Sahih (rigorously authenticated) and Hasan (authenticated). This brief note presents an analysis of such newly translated terms, which the author finds as unwarranted and misleading.
