Universally it is found that only 'change' that always remains unchanged. With technological advancements and various 'revolutions' like industrial revolution, communication revolution, information revolution, nano-revolution, etc the world is facing changes not only in increasing numbers but also in the 'pace' of changes resulting in shorter life cycle for product cycle for products and organizations. 'Changes' are in store for the world of business as well. Therefore the 'future' can very well be defined to mean 'changes' that are yet to occur. Only those organizations, small or big or giant, will survive, prosper, and grow only when the changes (future) are managed successfully. Hence managing changes is all the more critical in these days. This paper attempts to highlight the Indian wisdom on managing change with specific reference to Thirukkural (more than 2000 years old) and proposes an Indian style and guidelines for managing change, thus managing future!
