Abstract

Salvador é uma cidade com diversas manifestações populares e culturais, além do hábito do comércio de alimentos em vias públicas por trabalhadores informais. Com objetivo de integrar as tradições sem prejuízos à saúde, criou-se um grupo de trabalho interdisciplinar em educação e saúde para capacitar e acolher os trabalhadores informais. As oficinas e cursos resultaram na qualificação de 3675 trabalhadores em suas diversas ocupações.Palavras chave: Cultura, educação, eventos populares, trabalhadores informais, saúde.
