Fauna Indicativa

Abstract

Die Fauna Indicativa charakterisiert in Tabellenform ökologische Präferenzen und biologische Eigenschaften aller in der Schweiz einheimischen Libellen-, Heuschrecken-, Laufkäfer- und Tagfalterarten. Die Angaben für Präferenzen und Eigenschaften werden meist als Zahlen angegeben und entweder als skalierte Werte oder als Ja-Nein Entscheide aufgeführt. Weitere Kennzeichen sind als Buchstaben festgelegt. Die Angaben gelten spezifisch für Populationen in der Schweiz und beruhen meist auf Literaturangaben und Einschätzungen von Experten. Die Fauna Indicativa ist ein Werkzeug für die ökologische Auswertung faunistischer Daten. Die in ihr enthaltenen Informationen können eine Grundlage für die Erarbeitung von Indikatoren für Monitorings darstellen. Mit diesem Werkzeug können Arthropoden einfach für die Beschreibung von Zustand und Veränderungen von Biotopen in der Schweiz eingesetzt werden. Anwendungsbeispiele für die Fauna Indicativa werden aufgezeigt.
