Abstract

Abstract : The Computer Center in the Computer Facilities Division of the David Taylor Research Center has installed a Integrated Supercomputer Network. This manual provides an introduction to the new Network. Some information has been distilled from many individual documents and augmented to reflect usage at DTRC. Control statement examples and descriptions of hardware and software are included, as is information on moving files among the CDC CYBER 860A (with the Mass Storage System), the DEC VAXcluster, the DEC Remote minis, and the Cray X- MP, creating and executing batch jobs, and using the interactive systems.
