Abstract : This report presents a summary of the current state of optical artificial satellite searches using two telescopes. A rudimentary presentation of search strategy is given for near-stationary satellites and high inclination satellites. A complete discussion of the astrometric and photometric observing procedures necessary for identification and subsequent reacquisition is also provided. We also include a complete list of the necessary software and the minimum necessary tools that the orbital analyst requires. (Author)
