Abstract : The Earths inner and outer radiation belts, comprising energetic electrons and protons, pose a hazard to DoD spacecraft. Air ForceResearch Laboratory (AFRL) has an ongoing research effort to model and forecast the configurations of the belts, and to develop protective technologies for spacecraft. This final report summarizes these developments and research performed at AFRL during FY 20132015 to address them, funded by AFOSR grant 13RV08COR, Radiation Belt Dynamics.
