ABSTRACT Batch treatments of deep gas wells are common methods of corrosion control in West Texas. The majority of the batch-treated wells are treated with an oil-soluble, water-dispersible corrosion inhibitor mixed with a hydrocarbon solvent. Many wells are batch treated with water-soluble corrosion inhibitors, and this can be an effective method of treatment.
