Summary This paper presents the results of an integrated approach to the analysis of the geological structure and the subsequent of the productive Achimov deposits development: deposits X and Y located in Western Siberia. The main difficulties in the development of the Achimov deposits are associated with a high heterogeneity, a low degree of prediction of effective thicknesses, the difficulty of correctly calculating well flow rates, saturation behavior and, accordingly, water cut, and high production decline rates identified as a result of putting new wells into operation.
