Abstract

Objetivo: Evaluar el ajuste táctil y adaptación radiográfica de los conos de gutapercha Mtwo 25./06, 30./05, 35./04, 40./04, al conducto instrumentado con el correspondiente instrumento Mtwo. Materiales y Métodos: Para la evaluación del ajuste táctil y adaptación radiográfica se utilizó la raíz mesio-vestibular de una primera molar superior que contara con un solo conducto, instrumentado con Mtwo 25.06. A continuación, se introdujeron ll conos de gutapercha 25./06, se tomaron radiografias en sentido mesio-distal y vestíbulo-palatina y evaluó el ajuste táctil y radiográfico de cada cono. Igual procedimiento se empleó para 30./05, 35./04, 40./04. Resultados: Se utilizó el software estadístico Stata llC para el análisis de datos encontrándose en los resultados correspondientes a la evaluación del ajuste táctil de los conos que no existe una diferencia significativa entre ellos. Sin embargo si existe diferencia significativa en la adaptación radiográfica de los conos en el tercio apical. Por lo tanto los conos de gutapercha Mtwo no son un elemento confiable de obturación.
