MODEL PENYEBARAN FENOMENA SOSIAL “ALAY”

Abstract

Alay merupakan sebuah fenomena sosial perilaku remaja di Indonesia. "Alay" merupakan singkatan dari "anak layangan"atau "anak lebay". Pada paper ini, akan dibahas bagaimana memodelkan fenomena alay berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh. Alay dipandang sebagai penyakit sosial, sehingga model penyebaran penyakit dipilih untuk memodelkan fenomena ini. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penyebaran alay yang digunakan untuk model adalah jumlah orang yang positif dikatakan alay dalam suatu populasi, tingkat kedewasaan (usia), serta jumlah media yang memberikan tayangan positif dan negatif. Penentuan parameter-parameter dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap sampel kelas Ilmu Komputasi. Hasilnya , dapat disimulasikan jumlah sebaran dan laju dari individu-individu yang dikategorikan rawan alay, alay, dan sembuh dari alay. Dari model tersebut dapat disimulasikan juga faktor apa saja yang harus ditingkatkan agar fenomena “alay” dapat dikurangi.
