Web-Based Patient Queue Number Registration Application at Sidodadi Puskesmas, Sidoarjo District

Abstract

Information Technology plays a dominant role in society, enabling quick and accurate access to information. The Sidodadi Health Center in Sidoarjo Regency aims to improve outpatient registration efficiency by developing a web-based system. Currently, the manual registration process leads to long waiting times. This research proposes a solution by creating an optimized web application for queuing, benefiting both patients and staff. The system simplifies queue management and allows patients to track their status online. The research uses the waterfall method, including planning, modeling, construction, and deployment phases. Technologies like PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are used in development. Testing results confirm that the system efficiently assigns queue numbers and offers an easy-to-use interface. The study concludes that the web-based queuing system improves registration efficiency, reduces waiting times, and enhances the overall service quality at Sidodadi Health Center.
