THIS REPORT sets forth the evolution of the "Centrifilmer," a precision instrument in which biological fluid suspensions may be exposed in the form of thin-flowing films to controlled ultraviolet irradiation. In recent years, research on practical applications in the production of vaccines has shown that most effective results are obtained when the radiation is combined with other chemical and physical treatments for inactivation. Correlation of this combination-inactivation concept with the resulting improvement in the immunogenic and stability potential of antigens will be discussed.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 14 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
