Abstract

En este trabajo se reporta el seguimiento de la calidad del agua de lluvia en el municipio de Atlixco, Puebla para la temporada 2018. El objetivo del trabajo fue evaluar la influencia de la altura y de la presencia de contaminantes en la calidad del agua precipitada. Las muestras de lluvia fueron colectadas en el techo de una casa en el centro de Atlixco, y en el techo del convento ubicado en el cerro de San Miguel, lo cual representa una diferencia de altura de 44 m, su composición química fue analizada para 19 parámetros fisicoquímicos mediante técnicas gravimétricas y espectrofotométricas. Los resultados obtenidos fueron comparados con la calidad de agua potable hallándose que se cumplen los estándares excepto en Pb y Cd; asimismo, se encontró una fuerte aportación de fuentes terrestres ya que los cocientes marinos rebasan la unidad, y cuando se evalúan las concentraciones en exceso se halló una gran dispersión ya que los valores van de negativos a positivos. Por último, se hace una análisis estadístico encontrando que las relaciones interelementales para ambos sitios, en su mayoría no coinciden con lo cual se confirma la fuerte influencia de fuentes antropogénicas en el contenido iónico
