Febre feminista

Abstract

É possível verificar que já há cerca de seis/sete anos no Brasil vive-se uma febre midiática do feminismo em sua multiplicidade de abordagens e agendas. Especificadamente no campo da cultura, ou melhor, no sistema das artes, esse período proporcionou uma onda de exposições em artes visuais, de pequeno a grande porte, em grandes centros artísticos e territórios periféricos, que seguem desde o aporte fragmentado da exposição francesa Elles, do acervo do Centro Georges Pompidou, passando pela itinerância de Mulheres Radicais na Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, até a mais recente empreitada do Museu de Arte de São Paulo com Histórias Feministas. Tomando tais manifestações, e os estudos locais e recentes de história da arte, crítica e feminismos e gênero nas artes, procuro aqui estabelecer algumas linhas de forças dessas negociações narrativas curatoriais, e alguns paradoxos aparentemente indissolúveis que tais mostras levantam.
