Abstract

Desde o início dos anos 2000, o debate em torno das desigualdades e dos conflitos urbanos vem sendo balizado pelas grades analíticas das mobilidades ou das infraestruturas. No dossiê a que se refere este texto de apresentação, propõe-se algumas convergências interpretativas entre esses dois planos de referência, tomando as mobilidades e as infraestruturas como transversais, interligadas e complementares. O que acontece com as infraestruturas quando conferimos centralidade ao movimento e as pensamos como potencialmente móveis? O que acontece com as mobilidades quando as concebemos como espacialmente situadas e habilitadas por infraestruturas que podem manter, acelerar ou suspender os fluxos? Nos cinco artigos e na entrevista que compõem o dossiê, essas indagações levam a diferentes territórios empíricos no Brasil e em Portugal, assim como a experimentações metodológicas e conceituais.
