Sociology has the stimulating mission of providing critical analyses about the societies. This article aims at contributing to the debate about food globalization and the theoretical/methodological challenges presented in analyses thereof. It focus on the impact of such process upon production, distribution and consumption of goods, and particularly upon work and workers in specific empirical contexts. Keywords: Globalization.
