Over the years, the consumption of psychoactive substances has undergone an evolutionary process in accordance with times, beliefs, cultures, religions, a situation that has also changed in terms of users, ways of use, type of substances consumed and the social perception of the phenomenon. In the last two centuries, man has gone from just collecting wild plants to obtain, study and use their active ngredients, purify them, modify them and increase their effects, generating the phenomenon of drug addiction.
