</script>El artículo busca reconstruir el estereotipo lingüístico de la madre mexicana. La metodología utilizada es la Etnolingüística y sigue las ideas de la escuela del profesor Jerzy Bartmiński (Universidad de Lublin). La autora analiza los proverbios en español y las expresiones idiomáticas de México, posteriormente se compara la imagen de la madre con entrevistas cualitativas realizadas en México. Las conclusiones muestran la ambigüedad del estereotipo de madre, que, por un lado, merece respeto, pero, por otro, no tiene ningún valor.
