Atitudes de enfermeiros de um hospital de ensino no cuidado de fam��lias

Abstract

Objetivo: Descrever as atitudes de enfermeiros perante o cuidado de fam��lias, utilizando a Escala Importǽncia das Fam��lias nos Cuidados de Enfermagem �_" Atitudes dos Enfermeiros. MǸtodo: Estudo quantitativo, descritivo de recorte transversal, realizado com 126 enfermeiros em um Hospital Escola. Utilizou-se um formulǭrio estruturado para se obter a caracteriza��ǜo dos participantes e a escala Importǽncia das Fam��lias nos Cuidados de Enfermagem �_" Atitudes dos Enfermeiros, para analisar a atitude de apoio dos enfermeiros em rela��ǜo ��s fam��lias. Aplicou-se anǭlise estat��stica descritiva estratificando os escores obtidos na escala e subescalas pelas caracter��sticas dos Enfermeiros. Resultados: O escore mǸdio total obtido, na escala, foi de 84,4 (DP=8,6), demonstrando uma atitude de apoio ��s fam��lias. Entretanto, ao estratificar-se pelas caracter��sticas dos Enfermeiros, observou-se escores de baixo apoio dentre aqueles que nǜo tiveram experiǦncia prǸvia de ter um familiar gravemente enfermo e dos que nǜo tiveram algum contato prǸvio com o conteǧdo de enfermagem da fam��lia. Conclus��es e implica����es para a prǭtica: os enfermeiros apresentaram atitudes de apoio perante ��s fam��lias. O que na prǭtica assistencial aproxima a fam��lia e a enfermagem, potencializando a troca de informa����es e a corresponsabiliza��ǜo da fam��lia pelo tratamento.
