Abstract

Este libro es producto de la colaboración conjunta entre la Red Iberoamericana de Mercadotecnia en Salud, la Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco y la Universidad Estatal de California, campus Fresno. La obra pretende explorar conceptos relacionados con la salutogénesis, la mercadotecnia social y la promoción en la salud dentro de un marco de la salud pública que toma en cuenta las realidades de los países latinoamericanos. A través de esta publicación, los autores buscan brindar herramientas que les permitan a los trabajadores de la salud actuar efectivamente en la construcción de entornos saludables, mediante el desarrollo de acciones encaminadas al mejoramiento de la salud y la participación ciudadana. Su aporte radica en una visión comprensiva sobre la salutogénesis, la promoción de la salud y la mercadotecnia social. La comprensión de la importancia que tienen las actividades de promoción de la salud, como estrategia para fomentar los estilos de vida saludables. La identificación de los factores ambientales, sociales e individuales que afectan el estado de salud. La capacidad de desarrollar planes de acción congruentes con las necesidades locales y municipales. El desarrollo de estrategias motivacionales y de comunicación en el proceso de promoción de la salud, salutogénesis y mercadotecnia social.
