Abstract

En el mundo globalizado, las políticas públicas de la educación terciaria dejan de manifiesto la necesidad de una mayor relación entre las instituciones de educación superior (IES) y las organizaciones del sector productivo. Es decir, que haya más vinculación entre las universidades y las empresas. En esta conexión fundamental, el método del caso (MC) se aprecia como un referente didáctico apropiado para el desarrollo de competencias de sus usuarios. Un caso, como es sabido, es una estrategia aceptada a nivel internacional, particularmente en las escuelas de negocios. Un caso, además, debe describir un pasaje de la historia organizacional en un periodo dado, con una situación específica que ilustra buenas prácticas o condiciones desa antes que ponen en riesgo el liderazgo de los tomadores de decisión, e incluso, la sobrevivencia empresarial.
